New features
The main feature of this version is the active
content. Now you can use buttons not only for launching your applications.
Now button can works like small applet. Right now you can add E-mail
Notify and Shutdown buttons.
E-mail Notify

 Right-click
on True Launch Bar point New and select eMail Notify.
Enter button name and you will see properties for your mail
server. Fill Mail reader field to your favorite mail
client. When you press OK new button will appear on True Launch
Bar. But this button will check your mail server for new messages.
When new mail comes this button notify you by the sound and
the small animation.
You can setup some mail accounts to check them.
You can view the message's headers (From, Subject, Date,
Size) from server without loading them. And you can delete
some of them from server. Email Notify supports MIME
headers and all the codepages you install with Internet Explorer.
To access to the properties dialog right-click on button
and select Properties. In the context menu of the button you
can find two menu items:
- Check Mail Now... - check new mail right now (do
not wait time period)
- Mail list... - Shows messages on server

Shutdown Button

 Right-click
on True Launch Bar point New and select Shutdown Button.
Select what items you want to see when shutdown windows. If
you select only one item (Logoff or Shut Down...) This button
make this action without select dialog. It can do not ask
you about exiting windows if you check off "Always to
ask confirmation". You can make some buttons for your
needs.
NOTE: Some actions like Hibernate, Stand by can be
non-working if operating system do not support them.

Drag & Drop using
right button
 Now
you can drop your shortcuts into/from True Launch Bar using
right button of mouse. And you see the usual context menu. |
Changing the tooltips
text
 Now
you can change the text of tooltips. Right-click on button and
select Change description And enter the text you want.
Look at the picture. You can place some tips (like hotkeys)
for this button or/and program. |
Icon Libraries
 You
know that you can change icon for every button. But sometimes
this is very annoying to select the same file with icons. Now
you need to select this file once and click the button at the
right side of the file name and select Add File Library.
Now you can quickly select your favorite file using the name
you give. |
Hide/Unhide the buttons
You can hide/show any button on True Launch Bar. If your Control
Panel if too long, hide unused items.
Skinable
Now True Launch Bar is skinable. This means that you can change
appearance of buttons, menuitems...
True Launch Bar
as small file manager
Now Virtual Folders support drag&drop operations. This means
that you can use True Launch Bar as small file manager. You can
add the separators into Virtual folders. This can improve the groping
inside Virtual Folders.
Run your shortcuts
without click
Now True Launch Bar offer to you "Run on mouse hover"
feature. This means that you can run your shortcuts without click.
Just point to your button and wait for some time. And you can ajust
the hover time. Press CTRL key to block (while hold) this feature.
Colored Text
Now True Launch Bar offers to you the unique feature named Colored
Text. You can select the text color of every item. Use this feature
to point your attantion to some of items.
Fast toolbar

Now you can define some of shortcuts sets (toolbars) and quickly
switch between them using TLB context menu. Define one toolbar for
working the other for gaming!
Related Links
Now you can add related link to every button in True Launch
Bar. This can help you to associate more usefull links (to websites
or files) with application. Create your own links libraries!
Titles
True Launch Bar allow you to add separators to every folder. But
now you can make the separator with text - Title. This feature
can help you to improve the management of your shortcuts.
Protection
How many your childs removes your shortcuts from True Launch Bar?
Or your users lose some of buttons? Now you can click on button
and select Protect. Enter password and nobody can run, delete
or change your button. You can setup the settings password also.
